Louisa Gregory

CEO

Louisa was appointed as the inaugural CEO of CBAN in April 2020. She joined CBAN having spent 4 years with Colt Technology Services as Chief of Staff, where she was responsible for driving the development and execution of strategy across the business, as well as leading the development and execution of the organisation’s inclusion and diversity strategy. A graduate of Harvard Business School, she spent six years in Singapore and prior to joining Colt, Louisa was Chief of Staff at Pacnet Global, and supported the development and execution of the data centre growth strategy across Asia, as well as M&A activity.

Joe Ruffles

CTO

Joe was appointed as the CTO of CBAN in September 2020. He has worked in most areas of OSS/BSS for both service providers and their technology suppliers for over 20 years, and he has been involved in ICT standards organisations since 1998. He has led working groups and edited standards at the TM Forum, MEF, GSMA, and CBAN as they have advanced technology in the telecommunications industry. Joe began his career at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, before becoming a developer in Silicon Valley working for diagnostic imaging, graphics, and visualisation companies until telecoms took him to Europe.

Louisa Gregory

Kushal Sareen

CCO

Kushal was appointed as the CCO of CBAN in November 2020. He joined CBAN having spent 14 years with Three UK in various roles leading and executing commercial, operational & regulatory strategy in respect of carrier partnerships across Voice, Roaming, A2P Messaging and a number of wholesale services. Kushal led the planning and execution of several critical company initiatives and P&L performance of £500m of wholesale cost and revenues. He was responsible for generating various new margin lines, rolling out 4G roaming as well as spearheading Three Group strategy for Rich Communications Service (RCS).

Jussi Makela

Interim COO

Jussi is acting as the interim COO of CBAN, since April 2020. He is the Director of the ITW Global Leaders' Forum (GLF), an industry body representing the international carrier community, bringing together senior executives from the sector with a mission to further advance the principles for interoperability and ubiquitous connectivity. On behalf of the GLF, Jussi managed the project that led to the creation of CBAN, and he is now responsible for its ongoing operations in addition to his work for the GLF.
